As part of the Vietnam Innovation Challenge 2024, FPT.AI proudly received the “AI Platform for the Future of Digital Enterprises Award”, under the category of Outstanding AI Solutions.
Competing against 750 solutions from 20 countries, FPT.AI impressed the expert panel, earning this recognition for its significant contributions to the business community through innovative, Made-by-Vietnam AI applications. These efforts align with the vision of fostering a prosperous, sustainable, and fully digitized Vietnam. At the Vietnam Innovation Expo 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh personally presented the prestigious award to FPT.AI.

FPT.AI is an artificial intelligence platform developed by FPT Smart Cloud, a member of the FPT Corporation. As one of the corporation’s key strategic initiatives, AI in general, and FPT.AI specifically, receive substantial investment aimed at promoting Sovereign AI—building an AI ecosystem based on Vietnam’s data. This enhances competitiveness, safeguards national interests, and creates genuine value for the economy.
Solutions submitted to the competition were rigorously evaluated by experts based on seven criteria, focusing on capabilities, scalability, and sustainable impact on businesses and the economy. With extensive experience in solution implementation and integration, FPT.AI is currently the technology partner for over 100 major enterprises across 15 countries, with thousands of successful projects in various sectors, including finance, insurance, banking, e-commerce, healthcare, transportation, and public administration. These solutions serve tens of millions of end users annually.
Among many evaluation categories, FPT.AI received high praise for its superior technological capabilities, diverse solution ecosystem, and ability to comprehensively address user challenges. The FPT.AI solution ecosystem incorporates Generative AI to maximize technological potential, addressing practical business issues such as customer service and operational efficiency. Notably, after forming a formal partnership with NVIDIA, FPT.AI has accelerated its applications with the most powerful supercomputers available, achieving three times the performance and reducing training time by one-third. This meets the massive computational requirements of large language models (LLMs) with trillions of parameters.
FPT.AI platform includes 5 main solution groups: The superior customer care solution group (Conversational AI) includes FPT AI Chat, FPT AI Engage – a platform for building and managing automatic conversations, applying natural language processing technology (NLP), FPT AI Enhance – a solution to improve call center quality. The optimal operation solution group includes FPT AI Read – extracting data from text and digitizing documents, FPT AI eKYC – electronic customer identification, applying the most advanced Computer Vision technologies including Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Face Recognition, and Liveness Detection. To date, FPT.AI has deployed more than 3,125 chatbots, 3,200 Virtual Assistants, serving more than 200 million interactions between businesses and customers each month, helping to increase productivity by up to 67% and reduce costs by up to 40% for businesses, bringing breakthroughs in work performance, optimizing resources and increasing revenue.

The Vietnam Innovation Challenge (VIC) is a program to realize the vision of the Vietnam Innovation Initiative (InnovateVN), chaired by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the National Innovation Center (NIC) in collaboration with Meta Group. The program aims to seek innovative solutions from organizations or individuals around the world to solve important national challenges, towards a prosperous and sustainable Vietnam.
The Vietnam Innovation Challenge is part of the Vietnam Innovation Day 2024 taking place on October 1-2, chaired by the Ministry of Planning and Investment. The festival includes a series of seminars and technology forums. Through this event, FPT Group brings to the booth a new world, where Artificial Intelligence and semiconductors converge – two technologies that General Secretary and President To Lam said will shape digital Vietnam.
The theme chosen by FPT is: “Leading Innovation with AI & Semiconductors”, including outstanding AI & semiconductor solutions, demonstrating FPT’s pioneering and leading role in continuous innovation. Hopefully, chips and AI made by FPT will contribute to Vietnam’s increasingly high-tech development, becoming a new destination in the world.
